They acknowledged the family’s and the company’s previous experiences in the North Carolina mountains, the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the vision behind the Crestview Mountain community. “This is truly a milestone for The Provident Company, the greater Sparta area, and the state of North Carolina as a whole,” said Tom Hastings, President & CEO of The Provident Company. “We are extremely proud to be an integral part of the tremendous growth in North Carolina, in particular the North Carolina mountains. The vision for Crestview Mountain is complimentary to what is already in place in Alleghany County and is certain to pave the way for future innovative projects for this region in the mountains.” Prior to the groundbreaking, The Provident Company outlined the project’s construction timeline, and announced that pre-sales of residential home sites and units will officially begin in September of this year. The approximate first phase mix will include 64 home sites and 22 condominiums.  Specifics regarding the release program and pricing will be announced in September.
